Glimmer of Hope Foundation
Spreading hope, one doll at a time…
Ali Hornung found a love for helping others at a young age. She organized her first fundraiser for childhood cancer awareness at 12 years old, and after that her passion for giving back only grew.
In 2020, Ali started the Glimmer of Hope Foundation, in honor of her “little sister” Ella, who passed away from leukemia the year before. Ella loved American Girl Dolls, and wanted every young girl battling cancer to feel “confident, strong, and courageous.” Ali’s passion for supporting the families of children with cancer, encouraged her to break out of her comfort zone and attend rallies in Washington, D.C. and expand her reach worldwide.
